Bay Area instrumental trio Parker Street Cinema enlisted Burning House to help visually represent the driving, electro-tinged rock of their debut album, Music, In The Blood–without relying too heavily on the strong imagery suggested by the title. To capture the interplay between light and dark elements, the majestic and the brooding, Burning House combined hand drawn materials with paper textures, patterns, and found imagery–mostly taken from a series of antique children’s books–into a striking suite of images as densely layered as the music.
